Miss Jamie Ballet offers high-quality children's ballet classes at Prestfelde in Shrewsbury. Taught in a calm, supportive and inspiring environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, coordination and creativity.
Led by Jamie, a Royal Academy of Dance RAD registered teacher, our classes focus on excellent technique while keeping lessons fun, nurturing and age appropriate.
We welcome children from 4 with structured progression that supports both enjoyment and development.

MEET MISS JAMIE
Qualified Royal Academy of Dance ballet teacher, with over 30 years of dance experience and 15 years of teaching in the United Kingdom and Dubai
About Miss Jamie
Starting ballet and dance at the age of three, Miss Jamie quickly discovered her passion for the performing arts. A naturally shy youngster, she knows first-hand the confidence and joy that ballet can bring to young dancers.
After qualifying as a teacher with the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance, Miss Jamie spent six years in Dubai as Head of Ballet at The Ballet Centre, teaching over 1,000 students – including the Sheikh’s own daughter.
Since returning from Dubai, she has been back home in Shropshire, raising her three young children while teaching RAD Ballet across Shropshire and Birmingham. She has choreographed numerous solos, duets, trios, and group dances, sharing her love of ballet/dance with students of all ages.
Now, through Miss Jamie Ballet, she brings her years of experience, knowledge, and passion to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance.
